One year from today – Polish Day at Expo 2020 Dubai
– Less than 300 days left until Expo 2020 Dubai begins. The organizers have confirm their readiness to implement the World Exhibition in the size planned before the COVID-19 pandemic, and the program of stationary events will be supplemented with numerous online initiatives. As Poland, we have been working intensively in recent months on our exhibition inside the pavilion, in particular on the multimedia installation to be known as the „Polish Table” – a symbolic place where our visitors of all cultures will be greeted. We have agreed most aspects with our partners, in particular the Marshal’s Offices, who are preparing exhibitions for the temporary exhibition zone in the Poland Pavilion. We are already planning the celebration of the “Polish Day” in detail. On this day, we will combine a colourful presentation of Poland in the pavilion with spectacular cultural and interesting economic events, as well as with official celebrations and visits of State authorities at the highest level – says Adrian Malinowski, General Commissioner of the Polish Section of the World Exhibition Expo 2020 in Dubai.
The Polish Day is an opportunity to strengthen political and business relations not only with the State of the United Arab Emirates, but the entire Middle East region. In December 2021, the Poland-United Arab Emirates Economic Forum will be held, which will be the culmination of the entire economic program accompanying Poland’s participation in the World Exhibition Expo 2020 in Dubai. The program of the event includes the signing of bilateral agreements, business panels and b2b business sessions.
In the calendar of national days at Expo 2020 in Dubai, in the first decade of December, in addition to Poland, the following countries among others, will also be celebrating – The United Arab Emirates, The United States, Russia and Kazakhstan. The new date for the „Polish Day” was chosen bearing in mind other important events planned by our country for December, such as Children’s Day (6.12) and the Christmas Time Festival.
